Unaccompanied Scattering:
We now offer to receive your loved ones cremains by mail and can scatter them for you. The basic cost for this is $200 per individual. This can be documented with a picture for you as well as the purchase of flowers. Please inquire for these special services.
For loved ones who are cremated outside of the State of California, it is necessary for us to obtain a Disposition Permit. Please contact us for details on obtaining this permit before mailing cremains to us.
Basic Scattering: $500 (cash)

The basic scattering provides you with the exclusive use of the RIPTIDE for you and your guests up to 20 passengers total ( under the covid regulations we are generally now held to 15) for one hour. There is a $3.00 per person harbor Ticket Fee charge for everyone aboard the vessel.
We only take one group at a time. Being on time is critical for all concerned.
Multiple Scatterings: $100/person
The additional cost for more than one cremation (husband & wife) on the same trip due to the additional paperwork.
Burials at Sea
RIPTIDE Charters is licensed by the State of California to scatter ashes at sea. We provide this service for those who wish to have a loved one's ashes scattered on the ocean. We can carry up to 17 passengers. Arrangements can be made for clergy, flowers or other wishes of the family. For loved ones who are cremated outside of the State of California, it is necessary to obtain a Disposition Permit. Please contact us for details on obtaining this permit before mailing cremains to us. Other locations Pricing depends upon your needs and desires. Pets, Flowers. No religious affiliations. All are welcome.
Shipping of Cremains:
We can receive the ashes of a loved one for you and bring to the boat. The cost for this service is $50 Per Individual. Please follow instructions on the Mailing Instructions. For storage of ashes for more than several days there is an additional storage fee of $50 per week.

Refunds require a $25 handling fee.
Late fees are $20 per every 10 minutes!
